Q1: How should I store my coffee?

A1: Roasted coffee beans are best stored below 20 degrees Celsius however not necessarily in the refrigerator or freezer.

Q2: Best handling of ground coffee beans?

A2: Ground coffee is best used as soon as possible following grinding to extract the best flavour profiles. There is a difference between coarseness of grinds depending on the use of the coffee.

Q3: What is the difference between specific grinds??

A3: Different grinds are for use in individual applications and should be adhered to, giving the best extraction to make a premium cup of coffee. If the grind is not right for the application, it will affect the strength and flavour intensity of the coffee.

Q4: When was coffee discovered?

A4: It is said that coffee was first found and consumed in the 9th century (800 AD) by the Ethiopians. However, the earliest credible evidence of knowledge of the coffee tree appears in the middle of the fifteenth century, in Yemen.

Q5: Do I add boiling or hot water to coffee?

A5: Do NOT use boiling water to make your coffee as this can burn the coffee. Let it cool done slightly before adding it to your coffee.

Q6: How hot should milk be?

A6: Do not boil the milk for your coffee as this can give a burned taste to the coffee. The ideal temperature of the milk is 60~65 degrees.

Q7: How often should machines be cleaned?

A7: As essential as it is to have fresh coffee, and water and milk at the right temperature, it is important to keep your equipment clean.

Unclean machines and coffee making equipment can taint the taste and spoil the enjoyment of your cup of coffee.

Q8: Do you offer Certified Organic and Fair Trade coffees?

A8: We carefully source organic beans. Fair trade coffee can also be sourced and roasted on demand.

Q9: What are your delivery thresholds?

A9: Online orders up to 12KG are delivered via Australia Post. Orders 12KG+ are delivered locally within metro Melbourne by the Bennetti team.

Q10: Do you offer international shipping?

A10: Currently we DO NOT ship overseas.

Q11: What is your returns policy?

A11: Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. Beyond 30 days, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Gift cards or certificates are non-refundable.

Q12: Can I get an invoice for my order?

A12: Yes! Orders of 12KG automatically are provided with a tax invoice.
